Kuwait Paraxylene Production Company (KPPC) is a world-class petrochemical enterprise and a fully owned subsidiary of TKAC. Located in the Shuaiba Industrial Area, KPPC plays a vital role in Kuwait’s downstream industry, serving as a key link in the integrated refinery and petrochemical value chain.
Our facility boasts advanced, state-of-the-art technologies that were carefully selected during the design phase to ensure optimal performance, efficiency, and safety. KPPC's production units are strategically positioned and seamlessly integrated with neighboring refineries and petrochemical plants, enabling smooth operations and supply chain synergies.
KPPC’s nameplate capacity includes:
790 KTPA of Paraxylene – fully exported to international markets.
390 KTPA of Benzene – consumed locally to support styrene production.
Since commencing production in December 2009, KPPC has successfully completed rigorous performance testing in 2010, affirming the reliability and operational excellence of our plant.
KPPC is the stockholder of the aromatics complex plant. Aromatics complex is a petrochemical facility that produces aromatic hydrocarbons, primarily benzene and xylenes. Feedstocks are naphtha. These aromatics are vital raw materials for manufacturing plastics, synthetic fibers, resins, solvents, and detergents.
